Advocacy through consultation for reforms in Frontier Crimes Regulations in FATA
Through several research oriented and wide-ranging advocacy campaigns, CAMP is working to bring about reforms in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Pakistan. The projects aim at understanding the perceptions of the local population about the Frontier Crimes Regulation as well as to document the recommendations of the intelligentsia of the area about the necessary changes. Projects such as Understanding FATA and Communities for Change are working in this regard. Through newsletters and press conferences, consultative workshops and conferences, CAMP is trying to raise the awareness level of the local population and to understand the existing perceptions about issues involving them.
