Community Appraisal and Motivation Programme (CAMP) is a national non-profit and non-governmental organization established and registered in May 2002, under the Societies Act of 1860 (Registration No. 192/5/2946). We work with some of the most underprivileged communities in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan; responding to emergencies, improving access to quality health and education, creating livelihood opportunities and working closely with communities and government departments to promote human rights, peace and security.(Read more about CAMP)

FLP (Batch - I)

CAMP signed a contract of FATA Livelihood Project (FLP) with GIZ to be implemented in Tehsil Jamrud of Khyber Agency. Fifteen villages were selected in the first phase of the Project; CAMP formed 15 CBOs in all the targeted villages. The CBOs received Community Management Skill Trainings (CMSTs) and Leadership Management Skill Trainings (LMSTs) in an effort to socially-mobilize them. The FLP Project has two components one is Quick Impact Project (QIP) Schemes, which are implemented by the facilitating partner (CAMP) and another is Community Development Fund (CDF) Schemes, which are implemented by the already established CBOs. QIP schemes have been completed successfully in all the 15 villages and CDF scheme is in the implementation process and is expected to start in September 2011.

FLP (Batch - II)

January 20, 2011 to August 31, 2011

In the second phase 6 more villages were entered in the sphere of FLP project. CBOs in all these communities have been formed. CMST and LMST trainings were given to the CBOs of all the 6 villages. QIPs schemes implementation is expected in September2011 and CDF schemes process will be started after the completion of QIP schemes in the said communities.



Flood Project

CAMP-FLP team also implemented flood rehabilitation and construction project in the communities of Batch I. CAMP-FLP team built rooms and boundary walls to the victims of flood. The project started on August, 2010 and terminated in February, 2010.
