Livelihood Baseline Survey
FATA Secretariat conducted a Livelihood Baseline Survey to get a better understanding of the socio-economic living conditions of the people residing in FATA. CAMP supported this initiative and conducted the socio-economic baseline survey in 50 villages of Tehsil Jamrud, Khyber Agency.
Apart from household consultation, CAMP also interviewed village spokesmen (maliks and other elders). The baseline survey has delivered required high quality data on the socio-economic situation of villages in the area; information gathered is very important for the design and planning of new projects as well as the monitoring and evaluation of already implemented project activities. CAMP contributed to the survey design and methodology, as well as the training of a team of enumerators. The eight month Project ended in June 2010.
