Emergency Response
In times of natural disasters and mayhem, CAMP has been providing emergency relief and rehabilitation services across Pakistan. In the immediate aftermath of the October 2005 earthquake that ravaged Northern Pakistan and Kashmir, rising to the occasion with the rest of the nation, CAMP established its center in earthquake-affected areas of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa in district Bagh and Mansehra. Besides setting up a tented village and providing immediate relief items to the earthquake affected, CAMP established a Disability Resource Centre (DRC) for People With Disabilities (PWDs) at Mansehra district of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa and constructed 26 homes for 40 affected families of Bedadi village of Mansehra.
CAMP also undertook relief activities and set up two medical camps after floods hit Khyber Agency in 2007.
Since May 2009, CAMP has been providing primary health care to the Internally Displaced (IDPs) from Swat and FATA in and around Peshawar and Nowshera.
