A National Network Meeting of women-led CSOs working in Punjab and Balochistan was organised by Community Appraisal and Motivation Programme (CAMP) on Friday, 2 September 2016.
Ms. Marvi Memon, Minister of State and Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) addressed the inaugural session as keynote speaker.
Ms. Memon commended CAMP and the Sisters’ Voice Network for their efforts in empowering women and offered the BISP platform to educate more women on their rights. Ms Rahila Khadim Husain, Chairperson Standing Committee on Gender, Punjab Assembly, Dr. Shama Ishaque Baloch, Chairperson Standing Committee on Social Welfare, Balochistan Assembly and Mr. Naveed Ahmad Shinwari, Founding Chief Executive CAMP also addressed the inaugural session.
